Huion KAMVAS GT-191 Drawing Tablet Positives And Negatives

Right here is a outline of the good and bad:

Plus points
+ Nice build
+ Really nice and tough stand (stays firmly at a lot of angles)
+ Enough screen space (displays all UI elements with minimal clutter)
+ All to easy to setup and install drivers
+ Strong settings app (key stroke as well as mouse button mapping)
+ Toggle monitor switch!! (Ugee, Xp-Pen, Parblo, devices do not have it)
+ The Stand is comfortably unattached in the event you need to use a monitor arm
+ Pre-attached matte screen protector for papery feel
+ IPS panel with higher viewing angles
+ 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity
+ Low initial activation force (not as low as a Cintiq but far better than a Surface pro)
+ Pressure curve settings are almost cintiq-like out of the box
+ Jitter is non existent or hardly any
+ Functions well with Photoshop, Zbrush
+ Delightful price tag (Price is one third the price of a smaller Cintiq Pro 16)

Negative aspects

– Cables connect at the middle bottom which can get away when propping stand at rather low angles
– Parallax is quite evident (but still bearable)
– Pre attached matte screen protector is grainier than usual (suggest attaching your personal)
– Absence of express keys if you need them

I am not being paid for this review. Everything I say is 100% my opinion. Huion sent me this tablet free for review. They’re an awesome company, 11/10 would recommend.

I use Clip Studio Paint to draw the frames and I edit them together in Premiere Pro and I draw on a Surface Pro 4!

Huion GT-191 Tablet Review + Speedpaint!

Hiya everyone! I got sponsored by the lovely people at Huion to review their tablets! I was super excited to take this opportunity so thank you! And big thank you for Jester for helping me with the video! You can check out his gaming channel here: https://www.twitch.tv/brazendude

For the speedpaint, I ended up drawing my In a Heartbeat Au, so hope you enjoy watching the process for it!

Charms are coming! I’m just waiting on the final small product I need and they’re good to be sold and shipped out, so again, keep an eye out for the announcement! I’m super happy with how they came out so I can’t wait for you guys to see them!

HUION GT-191: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072N2C2PB

FAQs:

Who are these guys? They are my ocs! Their names are Dario (brown-haired dude/ogre) and Garrett (blond-haired dude), two boys you can check out on my tumblr blog linked below!

Are they your personas? I apparently get this confusion a lot (maybe because its common for youtube animators to animate their personas?) BUT no they are not! They are original characters that I created and are in no way related to me.

Are they both boys? Yup! Both boys in a relationship!

What programs do you use to make this? Paint Studio Sai for the art, Sony Vegas for the editing, and OBS for the recording!

What about you? I’m Skaroy! He/him please!

How do I submit fanart? Visit my tumblr blog linked below and either submit it, link it in an ask, or @ my blog or twitter!
